This last Friday, June 15th, 2018, our agency received a phone call from a solar panel small business in Miami, requesting help to launch a Facebook campaign, to generate qualified leads for their solar panel business in Florida.

Campaign audience are home habitants in middle and high income home neighborhoods in Florida.

We asked our prospect: “why do you want a Facebook campaign to generate leads for your business?” Our prospect said that he used to work in a company that used Facebook for lead generation.

We asked our prospect: “where did you find our agency?”. We found your agency at the first page of Google, said our prospect.

We recommended our prospect to launch a Google AdWords Display campaign to generate qualified leads for their business, instead of a Facebook display campaign. We support our recommendation in our previous experience with both campaigns, that showed us that Google Display always beats Facebook Display for lead generation and website traffic objectives.

Both, Google and Facebook can deliver the ad to the campaign audience. However, Google will deliver the ad to the campaign audience when they browse Internet (the open whole), whereas, Facebook will deliver the ad to the campaign audience only when they login and browse Facebook (the closed part). The audience browses Internet more times than they login and browse Facebook. Internet has 4 billion users, and Facebook has 2 billion users. Internet is an open network; Facebook is a closed network. Google advertising big database is variable richer and more accurate than Facebook advertising big database. Google pay per click cost for display ads is lower than Facebook pay per click cost for display ads. Google Display is more effective, efficient, and satisfactory than Facebook Display.
