Google Ads Digital Advertising.

Google offers small businesses two types of digital advertising. Both are called Google Ads. One is for the search engine advertising, which is called Google Ads Search; and the other is for Internet, which is called Google Ads Display.

Google Ads Search

Google Ads Search is the advertising that appears at the first page of Google search result when users do a search at Google.

The targeting variables for Ads Search are geographic location and keywords. Keywords matching options are broad match, broad match modifier, phrase match, exact match, negative match.

Small Businesses can appear at the first page of Google search results when their prospects and customers search for their products and services, using Google Ads Search.

Google Ads Display

Google Ads Display is the advertising that appears all over the Internet when users browse Internet.

Google Ads Display is probably the most powerful communication tool that is currently available in Internet. Ads Display is a 4.000 million people database that can be targeted by age, gender, geographic location, interests, buying intent, content words, content topics, and website addresses. There is no other advertising in Internet that can do this.

Small Businesses can reach their target audience using Google Ads Display Network with any combination of the following targeting variables:

People (audience) variables: Geographic location, age, gender, interests, buying intent.

Content variables: Words, topics, website addresses (URL or domain names).

Small Businesses can also create new audiences in their Google Ads Display campaigns, by asking Google to display the Ads to users who have visited selected websites.

In this articles we tried to inform small business owners about the importance of Google in their digital marketing campaigns.

As we always say in our articles, there are four major components in a small business digital marketing campaign: Media, Content, Google, and Ads. In this article we covered in detail the third component: Google.
