This article is addressed to small business owners, and I would like to given them the following advice: Begin to work in a SEO project to be at the first page of Google search results. You will get many business benefits. Takes time to be there. Another advice that I would like to give to small business owners whenever they search in Google: please review results in as many pages as you can to avoid online filter bubbles, which exist. Welcome to the real Internet world.

How long does it take for a small business to be at the first page of Google search results? This question has 2 answers: i) one day if you setup a Google AdWords paid campaign. ii) 2 to 3 years if you implement a SEO (search engine optimization) project. My advice to small business is to do both tasks during the first 2 to 3 years, and once you are positioned at the first page of Google organic search results, then you can stop the Google AdWords paid campaign, or at least reduce its scope and investment.

  • You will get new customers and new business partners

According to Google, there are TRILLIONS of Google search each year, and as Google says, people search in Google when they want to GO, DO, KNOW, or BUY. Most probably many of those TRILLIONS of Google search are made for people searching for your products or services. Without doubt, being at the first page of Google search results is one of the main digital lead generation tools.
